Witches love pink! Pink represents some of the more lovely thoughts in life. It symbolizes growth, love, and renewal. The full moon in April is even named the Pink Moon! What more is there to make a Witch’s heart happy than that!
Although it is not a color generally associated with witches, the color pink is used for correspondences when casting spells, performing candle magick, or choosing a crystal to carry with us for the day.

Correspondences
Correspondences fulfill a vital role in Witchcraft. To increase the energy of magick through correspondences, add colors, spices, herbs, time your work with the moon, and use symbols such as those of the runes. A pinch of this and a dash of that, when placed together help to focus your energy. When each addition corresponds to another, it adds to the vibrational power of Witchcraft.
Pink corresponds to the cardinal direction, south, which represents the Element of Fire and is associated with the planet Venus. It is also said to aid in the Law of Attraction, the idea that whatever you put out into the world is what comes back to you three-fold.
There are foods associated with the color pink. You could carry these with you on a picnic explicitly designed for your magickal workings. Ginger, strawberries, watermelon, avocados, olives, and apricots are good to bring along for noshing. Here is a link to a post about magickal picnics, which might give you some fresh ideas.
Essential oils that raise the vibrational levels of pink include rose, lavender, sandalwood, and rosemary. Herbs and spices such as ginseng, yarrow, basil, cinnamon, coriander, and allspice will be of service, too. Flowers to use in your magick work to correspond with pink include pink roses, daisies, violets, and pink phlox. Speaking of pink phlox, the Pink Moon gets its name from that flower because it is in bloom in April.
Crystals are always a source of vibrational energy. Some good ones to include are rose quartz, pink aventurine, rhodochrosite, and chalcedony.
Pink Magick Bags
Carry a small pink magick bag filled with a selection of these things to remind you throughout the day of your magickal workings. A pink rose petal, a small rose quartz crystal, a sprinkle of cinnamon, tied with a sprig of rosemary, will do the trick. Every time you see it or feel it in your pocket, take a deep breath and visualize what the color pink means to you at this time.
Pink—a Witch’s Color
Pink exudes calm and gentle energy. It will aid you as you work toward your goals, whatever they be. It will remind you just like the pink flowers in springtime that although hardships come, there will be bright days ahead. Pink brings reminders of the little joys in life. Be like other Witches—embrace pink in your life!
How do you use the color pink in your magickal workings? I would love to hear from you.
Until we meet again,
